About Us:

Great food and tradition live on at Pasquale's!

Welcome to Pasquale’s Pizza & Pasta in Cullman, where we stick to a very simple mission. We offer our guests delicious Italian food, super-friendly service and a warm, down-home atmosphere.

In fact, Pasquale’s has served the very best pizza, calzones, pasta, sandwiches and other tasty favorites to the people of Cullman and surrounding areas for over 55 years.

The restaurant has a special place in the city’s culinary history. When it opened in 1968, Pasquale’s was the very first pizza parlor to open in Cullman County.

The establishment was founded by Cullman native Lowell Nunnelley, along with Gloria and Ronnie Donaldson, and it has become a true local landmark.

Thousands of families have gone to Pasquale’s to enjoy their favorite dishes, meet their friends and make happy memories. Generations of athletes from all of the Cullman County high schools have celebrated victories and put up team photos in the restaurant’s dining room. Several couples have even celebrated their 50th wedding anniversaries at the eatery.

And this special atmosphere at Pasquale’s will continue for years to come under our new owners, Steve and Mike Morgan. Steve and Mike recently purchased the restaurant from Phillip Nunnelly – son of the founder – and Phillip’s wife Donna. The Nunnelleys retired in 2022 after operating the establishment for 40 years. Steve and Mike are committed to continuing the Pasquale’s tradition of great food and friendly service, and they want to preserve the restaurant’s much-loved feel and vibe.

“We want to keep everything original,” Steve told The Cullman Times. Their love for the restaurant and its traditions stem from their childhood memories of the local Pasquale’s in their hometown of Tarrant. “We grew up eating that pizza,” Steve said. “We just thought it would be nice to open up a Pasquale’s or buy one and sort of restore the old-school recipe.” Steve said Phillip and Donna did a “fantastic” job running Pasquale’s. “We want to be able to keep what they have started going for another 40 years,” he said.

Pasquale’s Pizza & Pasta is a great place to meet and dine for entire families and large groups, including churches, businesses and sports teams. We will be happy to make special accommodations for any occasion or request you have. Pasquale’s also offers catering services.

Always friendly food always fresh. We always go on buffet night. We love there cinnamon buns and asked if they sold them they said no but we could take all we wanted. Left with a plate full. Will always have our business. Thank you so much for always making us feel welcome.

Great local pizza spot!! My family and I were staying on Lewis Smith lake and decided to go into Cullman, AL to check out the town, so we chose Pasquale’s as our local lunch spot. They have a great American style pizza buffet. The pizza was, crispy, cheesy, and had plenty of toppings, and the little cinnamon buns were absolutely amazing!!! The couple running it are so sweet and seemed to really care about the customers. Great experience and would love to come back if I’m ever in town again.

Traveling from Ohio to Florida and stopped for the night in Cullman. Ordered a pan crust pizza from Pasquale's. This might be the best pizza I've ever eaten, and Ohio has some pretty great pizza. Staff was also friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

Everytime I come to Cullman I stop by and eat here. I love their stromboli steak sandwich and the cheese garlic bread. They also on Tuesday-Sunday they have a lunch buffet and on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday night a buffet that is heavenly. Everyone needs to eat here at least once.

This was our first time trying Pasquale's and it was absolutely delicious. Everyone was so polite and helpful. They made sure we were completely satisfied. We tried the lasagna and a large pepperoni pan. There was so much food! The portion sizes are huge so we had to carried most of the pizza home. This is my new favorite when I crave Italian.

My husband and I have been eating here for years, and with good reason. Simply put, the food is amazing. No fancy waitresses or fine dining, but I don't require those things anyway. I can refill my own drink and pick up my own food when it's ready. Not a problem. The Stromboli Steak sandwich is hard to beat, but their deep dish personal pizzas are also pretty dang fantastic and are more a 2 person pizza unless you are awful hungary. Also, a new personal fave is their Texas Toothpicks that are sliced thin onions and jalapenos battered and deep fried like fries. Amazing! Side note, they have a buffet style lunch and dinner with pizza, their pastas, gooey cinnamon things, and fantastic salad options. Go now, just do it!! You won't be sorry you did.

I was pleasantly surprised how awesome this little joint is for a place I was driving by and stopped because it was so busy... Everything I touched was awesome, amazing pizza-pasta-desert and good sweet tea. All for $10? Nice, sweet owner as well. Do yourself a favor and check this place out.

I have never had anything but nice friendly service and great food. I drive a little over an hour just to buy their food to go. I purchase the roast beef sandwich and the garlic bread. I cannot speak to the other items that they sell but I can say this is the best roast beef sandwich I have ever had and will continue to drive the hour to purchase it. I would recommend this restaurant.
